Sen. Cathy Cloutier runs away from Mike Matthews!

I’ve generally been quite friendly with the fine Senator of the Naamans Road area. But when I asked her why she voted no to override the governor’s eminent domain veto, homegirl ran away.

Gaffe of the night: As she’s running away, I refer to her as Sen. Connor. Connor is the other GOP-lady who voted no on the veto override. So confusing keeping those ladies in order!

She is another Margret Rose Henry. She wouldn;t be in Leg Hall if her husband didn’t croak.

Does Dori Conner belong to that club too?

    Jason,

I actually considered a headline like that, but my heartless bastard quotient isn’t that high.

Yes, Cloutier and Connor both inherited their now-deceased husbands’ seats.

Phil Cloutier was an honorable man. He supported single payer health care and his wife is nothing like him. I don’t think Phil could have been coerced into voting against the people.
