This could have casualties

Head on over to Hube’s place at The Colossus of Rhodey. He has an exclusive photo of a sign that went up in Sen. Cathy Cloutier’s district. I heard about this sign prior to going on-air with Rick Jensen yesterday and was waiting for the inevitable photo that would pop up.

I have a feeling this issue could play out in the long run and affect Sen. Cloutier’s chances of re-election in 2010. As big as that sign is and it being at a VERY heavily trafficked location, this could have maximum impact on public opinion in that district.

Yikes!

Hopefully people will wake up and realize exactly how their elected officials feel about their constituents and their constituents’ rights. But, unfortunately, chances are people will forget just how much of a fuck up and/or sellout and/or dumb ass they are and vote them in again. Hello, Dubya! And, of course, Carney’s answer was so fucking typical. Ugh.

People will remember and bloggers will never let them forget!

Mike, Thanks for posting the picture of my banner and the video of Senator Cloutier running up the steps to get away from your question on her recent flip flop vote of SB 245. I am the homeowner who has hung this sign in my back yard. I would like to say to Sen. Clutier that I am disgusted with your lack of respect for my private property rights. I look forward to the 2010 elections and I WILL NOT FORGET.

Jim: WAY TO GO! Speak your mind and let that woman know her constituents will not tolerate such bullshit!

One of the seriously funny things that can happen in leg hall is the ‘running away’ syndrome. Roger Roy turned on a dime and scooted back down the hall a few years back when I was walking the halls with Fritz Griesinger.
Fritz is a long-time community activist in Pike Creek, Roy’s turf.
The Senators who tailored their votes to Ruth Ann’s veto should all be getting flak in the form of a well-funded opponent. If there is someone in your Wilmington area district who fits that bill, support their campaign with money or better yet, volunteer your time.

Whoa! This sign is great. This is the advertising and revenge idea of the future. Loud, proud, and in your face. You mess with an idea that is good for the people and the people fight back.
